Intelligence

Life is intelligent. This means that life can not only make decisions, but it can relate to itself. It can relate so fully with everything that it can relate to itself—and, it can relate so fully to itself that it can relate fully to everything. This is the vital task of intelligence: to consider oneself, in relationship to everything else—including oneself.

Indeed, intelligence is always at work. You can never not consider yourself in relationship to everything else. You are making decisions in every moment. By your decisions, you declare what life is.

To live intelligently is to live with a high level of awareness. To be aware is to make decisions, and thus exercise your intelligence, deliberately. Intelligence is a process. Awareness enables you to change the way you carry out that process.
